Neptune ♆ Sea of Dissolution
A research toolkit for exploring the mystic, the generational, the transit, and the news — across the chart and across the centuries.
Who is Neptune?
Neptune is the slow, far planet — discovered in 1846 — that astrology assigns to dreams, dissolution, mysticism, fog, compassion, glamour, addiction, art, the imagination, the sea, and the unconscious. Where the personal planets describe who you are, Neptune describes where the edges of you blur into the everything-else.
It moves through one zodiac sign every ~14 years, taking around 165 years to complete a full circuit. That makes it generational — your Neptune sign is shared with everyone born within roughly your decade — but its house in your chart is personal. That house is where your life keeps softening, where the boundaries are thin, where you find both your mystic gifts and your favorite ways to escape.
The dual face of Neptune
The gift: imagination, art, devotion, mysticism, empathy, transcendence, healing, dreaming the future into being.
The shadow: illusion, deception, denial, addiction, victimhood, escapism, dissolution of what should not be dissolved, glamour that hides rot.

The 2025–2026 Threshold
March 30, 2025: Neptune first ingress to Aries — a sneak preview after 14 years in Pisces.
October 22, 2025: Neptune retrogrades back into Pisces for a final visit. Last call for closure on the Pisces era.
December 10, 2025: Neptune stations direct in late Pisces. The fog starts to lift; conclusions get clearer.
January 26, 2026: Neptune re-enters Aries for the long haul — until 2038/2039. We will not see Neptune in Pisces again in our lifetimes.
February 13, 2026: Saturn enters Aries.
February 20, 2026: Saturn–Neptune conjunction at 0°44' Aries. The headline transit of the year.
What Neptune in Aries Means
Aries is the first sign — Mars-ruled, cardinal fire, the I-am, the warrior, the founder, the spark. Neptune in Aries dissolves and reimagines identity, will, courage, autonomy, the very idea of "me."
The last time Neptune was in Aries (1861–1875), the world saw: the U.S. Civil War (which began literally two days after Neptune's first ingress), the global rise of spiritualism and séances, the abolitionist movement, the first underground railway, the New York Stock Exchange opening, photography deployed in war for the first time.
The pattern: radical spiritual and ideological change, often violent, often with cult-like leaders, often with utopian movements that win and then collapse.
The invitation
Pursue the visionary thing even if you can't see how. Translate dream into action. Stop "wishing" and start "willing." Find the spark of inspiration that will not let you sit still — and check it against reality before you bet the farm on it.
The shadow
Spiritual aggression. Cult leaders. Wars fought in the name of dreams. Identity crises dressed as awakening. Burnout disguised as devotion. Take the warning seriously.
The Saturn–Neptune Conjunction · Feb 20, 2026
Saturn and Neptune meet at 0°44' Aries. The Aries Point — 0° Aries — is the world axis, a degree that connects personal events to global ones. A conjunction at this degree is unusually loud.
Saturn: structure, limit, consequence, time, the wall.
Neptune: dream, dissolution, fog, mysticism, art.
When they meet: the structure of the dream, or the dissolution of structure. Both. Often, walls fall (Berlin in 1989, the last conjunction). New ideologies are born. Old ones die. Refugee movements crest. Religion meets empire. The architect meets the saint.
If you have any planet or angle in 0°–4° of any cardinal sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn), this transit is hitting your chart directly. Use the calculator tab to find your Neptune; check your degrees.

Where Aries Lives in Your Chart
What's Burning in the Sky Right Now
Tonight, Saturday April 18, 2026. Lit by the Sun in Aries, stirred by Mars in Aries, and shaped by Saturn's fresh ingress into the Ram. Aries season is in full roar.
🔥 The headline for tonight's meeting
Five points are piled up in Aries right now — Sun, Mars, Mercury, Saturn, Neptune (at the 0° cusp), plus Chiron. This is a rare stellium of beginnings. Wherever Aries lives in your chart, that house is being shaken awake, disciplined, healed, and asked to start something. Saturn's brand-new 28-year cycle began here in February 2026. Whatever you plant now sets the frame until 2054.
⚠️ Shadow to watch
Mars + Mercury + Sun in Aries = hair-trigger reactions, sharp tongues, accidents of the head & face, ego collisions. Saturn adds the "I'm right, you're wrong" rigidity. Move fast — but double-check before you blurt or swing.
