1. What Annual Profections Are
Annual profections are a traditional timing technique where each age activates one house of the birth chart. That house becomes the main classroom, stage, or storyline of the year.

The profection cycle moves one house per year. Age 0 begins in the 1st house, age 1 moves to the 2nd house, and so on. Every 12 years the same house repeats at a new level of life experience.
3. The Activated House
The activated house tells you where the year’s major life topics are concentrated. It does not replace the whole chart. It highlights the area of life asking for more attention.
4. The Time Lord
The Time Lord is the traditional ruler of the sign on the activated house. This planet becomes the guide of the year. Track its natal condition, house placement, aspects, and current transits.
5. Natal Placement of the Time Lord
After finding the Time Lord, locate it in the natal chart. Its natal house shows where the yearly storyline is connected underneath the surface.
6. Transits to the Time Lord
Transits to the Time Lord can activate the yearly story. Also watch transits through the profected house and major aspects involving the Time Lord.
7. Synthesis Practice
Blend the activated house, the sign, the Time Lord, the natal placement, and transits into a normal human story first. Then translate it back into astrology.
